An evening of Western and Indian classical music on harp and cello

Please join us for a concert of Western and Indian classical music on harp and cello on Wednesday, 1 February 2012 at 7:00 pm, at the Austrian Cultural Forum New Delhi.
Ms. Gwyneth Wentink will present her virtuosity on the Embassy’s own concert harp together with renowned Dutch-Indian cellist Ms. Saskia Rao-de Haas. Their musical programme will include works by Gabriel Fauré, Johann Sebastian Bach and Hidayat Inayat Khan. The artists will play additional works of Indian classical music which will be introduced by them accordingly.
Bindu Art exhibition "From Pain to Paint" at Austrian Cultural Forum, 20 January to 24 February 2012

For four weeks in January and February 2012, the Austrian Cultural Forum New Delhi presents works from artists at the Bindu Art School in Bharatapuram, Tamil Nadu. This school, founded by Austrian Multimedia Artist Werner Dornik and Indian social activist Padma Venkataraman, uses art to transform the lives of leprosy affected people. By painting and selling pictures, the artists attain financial independence. Drawing from intense experiences, students produce impressive paintings, tinged with a rare type of beauty.
"Mozart Choir of India" now in its 5th year

In collaboration with the world-famous "Vienna Boys Choir" the Austrian Cultural Forum operates the "Mozart Choir of India" for children 8 to 15.
